Education:

Grigoris Athanasiu obtained his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Stanford University (USA) in 1987.

Career:

He was a Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, USA (1987-90) and at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland (1990-92). He joined the University of Crete in 1992 where he is a permanent Assistant Professor.
