Education:

Anastasios Petkou received his BSc in Physics from the Univ. of Thessaloniki in 1989 and his PhD from Cambridge University (UK) in 1995.

Career:

He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Thessaloniki, the University of Milan-Biccoca (Italy), as well as CERN, and was a Humboldt Research Fellow at University of Kaiserslautern (Germany). He joined the University of Crete as an Assistant Professor in 2004 and obtained tenure in 2009.
