Colloquia 2012 - 2013

The Colloquia of the Department of Physics take place in the 3rd floor Seminar Room of the Physics Bldg., every Thursday at 5:00pm during the academic year. Occasionally, Special Colloquia are scheduled at alrernative days and times. The talks are in english, should be general and cover topics from all areas of physics and related sciences. The typical audience consists of members of the physics faculty, researchers, visitors, and graduate students as well as other members of the academic and research community of University of Crete and FORTH.

During the academic year 2012-2013 the colloquia were supported in part by the project "Ads - CMT - Holography and Condensed Matter Physics (ERC - 05), MIS 374071", co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund, ESF) and Greek national funds through the Operational Program "Education and Lifelong Learning'' of the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) under "Funding of proposals that have received a positive evaluation in the 3rd and 4th Call of ERC Grant Schemes''.
