Goal of the Course

Students are expected to

  • Understand how knowledge is created, matures and disseminated.
  • Learn how intellectual property policy shapes the research process.
  • Be aware of research and innovation policies in the state and the European Union.
  • Learn how academic institutions transfer technology to the market, either in the form of spin-offs or through licensing.

The course is offered from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and it is at level 6 according to the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning as a first-cycle course.
