Crete Center for Quantum Complexity and Nanotechnology - CCQCN

The Center for Quantum Complexity and Nanotechnology started its operation in September 2013, as an EC-supported FP7-REGPOT-2012-2013-1 project (project number: 316165), and has actively pursued high-caliber theoretical, experimental and computational research in promising areas of Condensed Matter Physics and technology, such as quantum metamaterials and complex materials; nanodevices; strongly correlated condensed matter systems; non-hermitian quantum systems, etc. Work on the research area of non-hermitian quantum systems has been supported by the European project NHQWAVE (EC-supported MSCA-RISE-2015 - Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) project (project number: 691209). In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Center, QCN has been incorporated to the University of Crete’s academic organization and administration structure. In February 3, 2017, it was published in the official Gazette of the Greek Government the incorporation of CCQCN to the Advanced Physics Lab of the University of Crete, establishing the new “Advanced Physics Lab – Center for Quantum Complexity & Nanotechnology”).

More information is available at the web site of the Center.
